“Brodolino is a ghost made from the following items: cinnamon, black cardamom, star anise, fennel seeds, coriander seeds as well as pieces of self-made Raku ceramics. The spices I used in a broth akin to a vietnamese pho soup. I cooked them for one hour in a cotton bag I then removed from the pot. The flavour stays in the soup and the steam has an intense smell. Even though I formed the ghost only after cooking the soup, I think it has always been in the soup and the steam.”
